Our client, a Canadian leader in military and public safety technology, provides Command-and-Control software expertise and solutions for military and first responders. The company specializes in Dismounted/Mounted Domain expertise, with a focus on software development, integration, and support services. Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services, is managing the hiring process.
Job Responsibilities
- Software Development & Design: Analyze, model, and implement software systems using C# or Java.
- Integration & Evaluation: Provide software integration support, identify and resolve system-level discrepancies, and ensure system integrity.
- Independent Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses on third-party software integration.
- Documentation & Planning: Prepare procurement support documents, review technical documentation, and recommend improvements.
- Testing: Perform and oversee software integration testing.
- Support SAFe-Agile: Follow SAFe-Agile model practices in development and maintenance activities.
Hard Skills
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# or Java.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Windows/Linux.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days on-site per week in Ottawa, Ontario, with remote work options for the remainder of the week.
